My name is Mai Liu.
I want to be irreplaceable by creating something meaningful and being a part of something bigger than myself. I attend the Fashion Institute of Technology with an Associate's Degree in Fashion Business Management, achieving my Bachelor's Degree in Advertising and Marketing and double minoring in Creative Technology and Asian Studies.Today, I am lucky to be immersed in the vibrant and unyielding energy of New York City. As a dedicated student at FIT, I embrace every opportunity to learn, grow, and transform my dreams into reality. Invaluable experiences, including an internship with Shelly Xu Design, a pioneer in sustainable zero-waste fashion, have enriched my time at FIT. I also have the privilege of working at the renowned Jet Set New York photography studio under the guidance of Kanji Ishii. This experience deepened her appreciation for the art of storytelling through visuals, whether in photography, videography, web design, or graphic design.Moving from the serene landscapes of Wisconsin to the bustling streets of New York City was no small feat, but it has been a journey of immense personal and professional growth. I thrive on the culture and life in the city that never sleeps, drawing inspiration from its endless possibilities and ceaseless momentum.
